Expeditions

Guided & Virtual

As a teacher or parent, have you ever dreamed about taking children on a trip but can’t afford the travel involved?Or maybe you don’t have the means to provide the transportation or handle that many kids at a time. Imagine taking them on an adventure where they can experience the world around them without leaving the comfort of their own home or school.

The Virtual Expeditions help you make this happen. Bring the class along as The Green Up Girl® and Abby, the parrot, visit locations outside of your home or school. The children can ride along with them, virtually and safely, and help them explore the world.

Through the use of today’s technology, the children will be there as C S Wurzberger interviews zookeepers, conservationists, and other interesting people.Or maybe she’ll take them with her as she drives through a national park that these kids may not have a chance to visit in person. The kids will be participating with her as she travels around and witnesses animals in their own habitat.

It won’t be a polished presentation like watching a national geographic video. It will be more like a home movie...spontaneous and unsophisticated. The kids will be virtually driving along with The Green Up Girl® and Abby in their zebra stripped jeep or their RV. With a video camera securely and safely mounted on her dashboard or maybe even on her head, the children will see whatever she sees. They’ll feel like they’re riding alongside her and seeing everything she does. It’ll be so real, you may want to give them a Dramamine!

Think of it as taking your kids on a family vacation without having to leave the house or get off the couch! Engage the kids so they’ll feel like they’re traveling right with their guide.

These virtual tours will be local as well as global. Maybe she’ll take you to SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida or San Diego, California. Or perhaps trek off on an African Safari or a trip to where the polar bears live such as Canada, Alaska, Greenland or Norway.

An itinerary will be issued for each trip so that you can plan along with your kids. Maybe even discuss what to bring on the journey and look at a map to see where you’re headed. Travel guides and Awesome Animal Adventure passports will also be delivered.

These trips will be as close to being there in person as one can imagine. So, take the kids for an adventure they’ll never forget. Not only will it be fun and engaging, but they’ll learn a lot too. So, will you!
